Hel is the Norse goddess of the dead. She’s daughter of the trickster god Loki and the giantess Angrboda.
The name of the Goddess Hel means “hidden” in Old Norse, and that name refers to her appearance. She is described as having half body as a beautiful woman with long hair, and the other half being a skeleton. She is sometimes described as being half alive and half dead. Hel is seen as the gatekeeper of the afterlife, ushering the dead into her realm and ensuring they are cared for until they are ready to be reincarnated.

This is a one of a kind original handcrafted figurine, that is available in Aged Copper Patina, Tombstone Gray, Midnight Pewter, & Aged Bronze.
Created with a casting medium similar to plaster, and painted in layers of matte acrylics and metallic lusters, made to resemble aged metals and concrete.
She stands 6-inches high on a 2 ¼ inch wide base and is finished with a water based matte glaze to protect the finishes and added silicone bumpers pads on the bottom to protect it and prevent scratches to surfaces.
